Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated 3 August 2026
This page is available in English only.
We would rather refund someone who is unhappy than keep the money. If the service is not what you expected, tell us and we will sort it out.
Who you bought from
Payments for builds.center are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record. Paddle is the seller named on your receipt, handles payment and tax, and issues refunds. You can contact us at support@builds.center and we will arrange it, or you can go to Paddle directly using the link on your receipt.
Cancelling a subscription
- You can cancel at any time, from your account settings or by emailing us.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for — we do not cut you off on the day you cancel.
- When the period ends the account returns to the free plan. Your builds, posts and images are not deleted. Features reserved for the paid plan stop working, and if you are over the free plan's limits, the excess becomes read-only rather than being removed.
Refunds
Within 14 days
If you ask within 14 days of a first subscription payment or of a one-time purchase, we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason.
Renewals
If an automatic renewal caught you out and you have not meaningfully used the paid features since it was charged, email us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it.
One-time purchases
Permanent additions to your account, such as extra build capacity, are refundable within 14 days provided the capacity is unused. If you have already published builds into the extra capacity, we will ask you to bring the account back under its previous limit first.
Outside those windows
We do not generally refund past 14 days, and we do not pro-rate a partial period. If the service was broken, unavailable, or did not do what the upgrade page said it would, that is a different matter — write to us and we will make it right regardless of the date.
If you are in the EU or UK
You have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. Because access to paid features begins immediately, you are asked to acknowledge at checkout that performance starts at once, which in principle brings that right to an end once the service has been fully supplied.
In practice we do not rely on that. Our own 14-day policy above is offered to everyone, and it is at least as generous as the statutory right. Nothing here affects rights you cannot waive under consumer law, including in respect of a service that is faulty or not as described.
How to ask
Email support@builds.center from the address on the account, and include the receipt number if you have it. We aim to reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method, and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
Failed payments and chargebacks
If a payment fails, Paddle will retry and notify you. If it cannot be collected, the account returns to the free plan — your content stays.
If you are considering a chargeback, please email us first. A chargeback typically results in the account being downgraded automatically and can lock the payment method out of future purchases, whereas a refund does neither and is usually faster.
Price changes
We may change prices. Any change to an existing subscription applies from the next renewal, and we will tell you before it takes effect so you can cancel if you would rather not continue.
